La Residenza “San Giovanni” sorge nel centro storico di San Giovanni Valdarno, piccola cittadina toscana situata nel triangolo delle città d'arte Arezzo – Firenze – Siena, presso la principale via della città: Corso Italia.

La vicinanza con la stazione ferroviaria permette di raggiungere con rapidità i maggiori centri di interesse della regione: ad esempio, si può arrivare a Firenze in soli 30 minuti. Vivrete lontani dal contesto caotico della grande città, ma avrete la possibilità di raggiungerla facilmente e spendendo meno.

La struttura si sviluppa su due piani collegati da ascensore.

Con i suoi ventotto ampi appartamenti, tutti modernamente arredati e forniti di angolo cottura, la Residenza offre un soggiorno piacevole e confortevole. Due appartamenti sono accessibili per disabili e in quindici appartamenti è installato un impianto di aria condizionata. In alcuni appartamenti ci si può collegare ad internet con connessione wireless gratuita.

The Residenza “San Giovanni rises in the lovely historical centre of San Giovanni Valdarno, small town in the heart of Tuscany, situated in the triangle of the important cities Arezzo-Firenze-Siena, in the main street of the town: Corso Italia.

The near railway station let you join quickly the most important points of interest in Tuscany: for example you can join Florence in just half an hour. You will live far from the chaotic big city, but you will have the possibility to go there easily and spending less.

The structure develops in two floors joined with lift.

With its 28 apartments, equipped with kitchenette, the Residenza offers a pleasant and comfortable stay. Two apartments are accessible for disabled and in fifteen apartments there is air conditioning.

In some apartments you could surf the Internet by using wireless internet connection free.

You could directly book at the Reception services such as quadricycle tours, massage, beauty treatments, baths, excursions with driver...

In the Residenza a big parking free is available near the structure for our guests.

Monolocale

Questo tipo di appartamento per due persone è l'ideale per un soggiorno intimo e piacevole.

Ampio e luminoso, è fornito di angolo cottura accessoriato, frigorifero, TV color, poltrona o divano, bagno privato in camera con doccia, riscaldamento autonomo.

One-room apartment

This apartment for 2 people is the perfect way to have an intimate and pleasant stay. Spacious and comfortable, the one room-apartment is equipped with kitchenette and kitchenware, fridge, TV color, sofa or armchair, private bathroom with shower, heating.

Bilocale

L'appartamento bilocale è assai spazioso, con le sue due stanze che ospitano fino a quattro persone.

L'angolo cottura è accessoriato con tutto ciò che serve per cucinare; l'appartamento è fornito di frigorifero, TV color, bagno privato in camera con doccia, riscaldamento autonomo.

Two-rooms apartment

The two rooms-apartment is very spacious and can host until four people.

The  kitchenette with kitchenware is equipped with everything you need to cook; the apartment has fridge, TV color, sofa or armchair, private bathroom with shower, heating.

Loft

Il loft è un appartamento con soppalco ideale per le famiglie con figli piccoli o per gruppi di amici. E' ideato con la formula letto matrimoniale + due lettini.

L'appartamento è provvisto di angolo cottura accessoriato, Tv color, aria condizionata, frigorifero, poltrona o divano, scrivania.

Due di questi appartamenti sono accessibili per disabili.

Loft

The loft is an apartment with mansard perfect for families with children or groups of friends. It's designed with the formula double bed + 2 beds. The apartment has kitchenette with kitchenware, fridge, TV color, sofa or armchair, private bathroom with shower, heating, desk, air conditioning. Two of this apartments are equipped for disabled.

Servizi

La Residenza offre gratuitamente posti auto nel suo parcheggio privato adiacente alla struttura.

All'inizio del soggiorno è fornito un cambio lenzuola, asciugamani e accessori per la toilette, che vengono cambiati gratuitamente una volta a settimana. Si possono richiedere, durante il soggiorno, altri cambi di biancheria a pagamento.

La connessione wireless è gratuita.

Presso la Reception si possono avere informazioni sul territorio e si possono prenotare altri servizi (per assicurarsi la disponibilità di questi servizi è consigliabile specificare, al momento della prenotazione, a quali tipi di servizi il cliente è interessato) a  pagamento:

• Gite nella campagna toscana con quadriciclo a motore con esperti istruttori, per scoprire le bellezze del territorio toscano, godere del panorama tipico e scattare foto esclusive. La gita è adatta anche per bambini che viaggeranno a bordo con un adulto: si organizzano anche lezioni per guidare il quad per i più piccoli in una pista specializzata.

• In un centro benessere convenzionato si possono prenotare:

Services

The Residenza offers private parking free for its guests near the structure. At the beginning of the stay you will get a change of sheets, towels and accessories for the toilette, that will be changed free once a week. You could ask for more changes during the stay.

The wireless connection is free.

At the reception you could have more information about the surroundings and book more services (to be sure we have availability, it would be better to specify, during the booking, which services you are interested to) - that are not included in the price:

• Tour in the countryside with quadricycles with expert teachers, to discover the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, be delighted by the wonderful panorama and take exclusive photos. The tour is suitable also for children, that will travel with adults: we organize also trainings for the children.

• In a beauty center you could book:

• Excursions with driver in the Chianti, in the most beautiful art-cities of Tuscany (Florence, Siena, Pisa, Pienza, San Gimignano), wine tasting, gastronomic tours, photo-tours and... what's more?

Dintorni

San Giovanni Valdarno

San Giovanni Valdarno, uno dei principali centri del Valdarno aretino e città natale del pittore Masaccio, è situata al centro del triangolo Arezzo–Firenze-Siena, in prossimità del casello autostradale A1 Valdarno. Circondata da colline e montagne, San Giovanni, che vanta un'antica tradizione industriale, e' anche una piccola città d'arte: il Museo della Basilica, Casa Masaccio, Palazzo d'Arnolfo... sono solo alcune delle più importanti attrattive turistiche che la città offre ai suoi visitatori.

Suggestivo tutto il centro storico: sviluppatosi nel medioevo, ha mantenuto la struttura di borgo medievale, con piccolissime strade (tra cui i caratteristici "chiassi", quasi privi di sole) e l'improvvisa, inaspettata apertura sulle piazze centrali una delle quali dedicata, non a caso, a Masaccio e l'altra a Cavour.

E' proprio ad Arnolfo che è stata attribuita la paternità del progetto urbanistico di San Giovanni come pure il disegno di Palazzo Pretorio, che prese poi il suo nome. Oggi San Giovanni, sviluppatasi anche in virtù di una storica attività nel settore vetrario, e' una città che ha saputo trovare il giusto equilibrio fra arte e produzione industriale, commercio altamente specializzato e servizi.

Nel Valdarno Superiore, dove sorge la cittadina, è possibile ammirare numerosi siti di interesse naturalistico, quali ad esempio il Parco Naturale di Cavriglia, dove oltre a poter passeggiare tra i boschi è possibile vedere alcuni esemplari di animali come macachi, guanachi, daini, bisonti, cervi. Un altro sito di particolare interesse è il fenomeno erosivo che ha reso celebri le nostre vallate, conosciuto con il nome di “Balze”.

San Giovanni Valdarno

San Giovanni Valdarno, one of the principal centres in the Valdarno aretino, the hometown of the painter Masaccio, is situated in the center of the triangle Arezzo-Firenze-Siena, near to the exit of the highway A1 Valdarno. Surrounded by hills and mountains, San Giovanni, which has an ancient industrial tradition, is also a little art city: the Museo della Basilica, Masaccio's house, Arnolfo's Palace... are just an example of the sightseeings that the town offers.

Suggestive all the historical center: developped in the middle age, it has kept the structure of medieval suburb, with small streets (like the little “chiassi”, streets with no sun) and the sudden opening in the central squares, like Piazza Masaccio and Piazza Cavour. Arnolfo has made the project of  the Palazzo Pretorio, which then took his name. Today San Giovanni, developped also thanks to the glass sector, is a city which has found the right balance between industry and history, skilled trades and services.

In the Upper Valdarno, where the town rises, it's possible to admire interesting sightseeings as the natural park in Cavriglia, where you could walk in the wood and see specimens of animals as macaques, guanacos, fallow dear, bisons. An interesting erosive phenomenon in the Upper Valdarno is called “Balze” and characterizes our valley.
