Il negozio Mattei nasce nel 1952 come rappresentante con deposito di importanti ditte del settore ricambi auto e moto. Nel 1965 il nipote Montanari decide di dare un nuovo corso alla ditta e diventa importatore e distributore esclusivo per l’Italia della Belstaff.

Giacche quasi immortali, con una particolarità che piace alla clientela: più invecchiano più diventano belle. La Belstaff viene vissuta come una giacca “tecnica” ma piano piano convince anche i più tranquilli, quelli dediti esclusivamente al turismo. Oggi il negozio Mattei, è una vera e propria istituzione che continua a vendere Belstaff con lo stile di sempre, con un occhio di riguardo per la tradizione.

The shop Mattei was founded in 1952 as representative of important companies with storage of auto parts and motorcycle industry. In 1965 the grandson Montanari decided to give a new direction to the company and became an importer and exclusive distributor for Italy of Belstaff. Jackets almost immortal, with a special feature that appeals to customers: the more they age they become more beautiful. The Belstaff jacket is perceived as a “technical” jacket but slowly convinces even the most calm, those who are dedicated exclusively to tourism. Today the shop Mattei, is a veritable institution that continues to sell Belstaff style ever, with an eye for tradition.
